Product Overview

The CM1457 is a high-performance L-C EMI filter array with integrated ESD protection, available in 4-, 6-, and 8-channel configurations. Designed for compact Chip Scale Package (CSP) form factors with 0.40 mm pitch, it offers a robust solution for filtering electromagnetic interference and protecting sensitive I/O lines. Each filter channel features a component value of 6 pF - 35 nH - 4.7 pF - 35 nH - 1.8 pF, achieving a -3 dB cut-off frequency of 300 MHz. This enables data rates up to 160 Mbps while providing over -35 dB attenuation in the 800 MHz to 2.7 GHz range. The device incorporates ESD diodes on every I/O pin, capable of dissipating ESD strikes up to 15 kV (IEC61000-4-2), ensuring superior protection. Its small package and optimized pin assignments make it ideal for wireless handsets, mobile LCD modules, PDAs, and specifically for protecting LCD display and camera interface lines in mobile handsets. The CM1457 also features ON Semiconductor's OptiGuard for enhanced assembly reliability and offers significant board space savings compared to competing CSP devices.
